MYANMAR GO DOWN FIGHTING

NAY PYI TAW (30 OCTOBER 2014): Myanmar’s national sepaktakraw team put up a gritty fight against best seeds Thailand but failed to place a dent in their opponent’s shield in their ISTAF SuperSeries MYANMAR 2014/15 match.

The hosts lost 21-16, 21-16 to the best seeds at the Wunna Theikdi Interior Stadium here in 46 minutes, although not before pushing the defending winners all the way. Both teams traded point for point, with Myanmar also leading the Thais at times.
